Reclining Nude-Phase 3

I have now fleshed out most of the color into the painting.  I am working toward the final layer of color.

Reclining Nude-Phase 2

After establishing the form with light and shadow, I apply a turpentine wash of raw umber to unify the whole.  I then build up the lights with flake white.

Here I have laid the ground work for the piece using raw umber, flake white, and green earth over a charcoal drawing.
